Capybaras are known as nature's most chilled-out animals. They are highly social creatures that live in groups of 10-20 individuals. Their gentle temperament makes them popular with other animals, often seen with birds, turtles, and even crocodiles!
Capybara Now!Diet
As herbivores, capybaras mainly feed on grass, aquatic plants, and tree bark. They can consume up to 8 pounds of grass per day! Their unique digestive system allows them to extract maximum nutrition from their plant-based diet.

Native to South America, capybaras live near water bodies in various countries including Brazil, Venezuela, and Argentina. They prefer areas with dense vegetation and easy access to water for swimming and protection.
